Adesso who specailizes in input devices have created an excellent remote control for XP and Vista Media Center edition. With the look and feel of a Tivo remote, Adesso has made accessing your movies, pictures, music much easier from across the room.
The install was very easy with no software to install. Just insert the remote receiver into an open USB port an you are good to go. No software to install.
The remote has a good feel and the weight is just right not to heavy but not light an flimsy either. The buttons have a good repsonse so you know when you given it enough pressure. They have also provided a red light at the top of the remote so you have visual confirmation when you have hit a button. This is also helpful when a cat is stepping on the remote and the channels keep changing, which happens at my house.
With a price point of less than $30 this is an excellent remote control for your Windows Media Center.
