I am willing to spend between $100 and $200. For that price range you can get a real good system without breaking the bank. I might be willing to go to the lower 200s if I was getting a reall good deal.

i would get two actually..spend $0-$100 for travelling models and then swipe into lower $200's for a good speaker system for all that headbanging.!!

I think i will spend $100 to $200 for the majority of all iPod speaker systems. I believe this is the best deal for the quality. Apple is now doing pretty good for their speaker system.

For me..altec lansing is only suitable for my PC..nothing else, because for my home theater, I've my latest sony model. so, I just spent below than $50 for my second altec lansing. Not that expensive actually, because I need to multiply with 3.8 for my currency.
