I purchased this product to replace the older model Logitech which I have used for several years now - at the beach, at the pool, traveling in my suitcase for use in the hotel room, etc. It was an awesome product. My older unit has a lot of travel wear and tear on it and it is losing it's battery life, so I purchased the Pure-Fi Anywhere 2. I just returned this model to the store, as I thought there was something wrong with it - it kept shutting down. Now I am reading about the Auto shut off feature. I frequently bring the speakers to the pool or down to the beach. You have to turn the volume up at times for the system to be heard. Use of this model in a smaller room where lower volumes suffice would be fine. If you go outdoors or are in a large room, this will not work well. The volume was at 50% and it was shutting down. Too bad as the sound quality is great. Also, the case is not as robust on this newer model. On the third time of using it, the zipper pulled apart. The material is also not as protective as the previous harder case.
