the iM9 is Pretty Awesome! Written by Darrell Wednesday, 13 June 2007 Just got the Altec Lansing im9 and I am very impressed with it. It sounds great and looks great. It is very compact and functunal. The design is clean and simple. The backpack that comes with the unit is very nice also the speakers fit in snug and it has the straps in all of the right places. I have not had a chance to see what this will do outside but the iM9 will sure fill up a room with some good sound. I wish the price point was a bit lower, but then I think most things are two expensive. The iM9 has a good value for the money. Some of the less expensive competitors do not have the same sound quality. This is a great example of you get what you pay for. The iM9 is a bit more expensive but worth it. Hope this review helps you in your decsion process.

This is a great product Written by Bill323 Wednesday, 13 June 2007 I have taken this on a couple of trips and have gotten many complements. It was more expensive than some of the other options but I am glad that I made the investment. :-)

The only room for improvement is a remote control would be nice and the volume when the speakers are initially turned on is a bit loud.
If you are looking for a good iPod speaker system or iPod boombox then this is definitely and excellent choice!
